Wu's Tai Chi Chuan Academy is the headquarters of Wu Style Tai Chi in Hong Kong. Grand Master Eddie Wu Kwong Yu, fifth-generation head of the Wu family, teaches the complete traditional curriculum in Kowloon.

Stillness within motion,
Tai Chi Chuan is one of the five major Tai Chi families, passed from father to son and from master to disciple. Our classes are taught by lineage holders — not by instructors who learned from books.
The slow form is only the beginning: push hands builds sensitivity and balance, and the weapons forms complete the art. Precise posture, relaxed strength, patient practice.

Our Heritage
Founded in 1937 by Grand Master Wu Kung Yi, the Academy has taught continuously in Kowloon for nearly nine decades — through war, migration, and the growth of Tai Chi across five continents.
The Wu Style taught here is inscribed on the Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage inventory, and the lineage continues under fifth-generation head Eddie Wu Kwong Yu.
